Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West have welcomed their fourth child to the world.
Kardashian West confirmed via Twitter that the baby boy had arrived on Friday.
“He’s here and he’s perfect!” she tweeted.
The reality television star said the baby looked like his sister Chicago and called him her “twin.”
“I’m sure he’ll change a lot, but now he looks just like her,” she said.
On Thursday, during a performance at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kourtney Kardashian had announced that her sister’s surrogate was giving birth.
Kardashian West, 38 and West, 41, have been married since 2014 and have three other children: North, 5; Saint, 3; and Chicago, 1.
Kardashian West started the surrogate route after having treated a lot of problems during her first two pregnancies.
With the eldest child of the couple, North, Kardashian suffered from appendicitis and preeclampsia, a serious condition that causes high blood pressure and sometimes other symptoms such as fluid retention. The condition can make the birth process more difficult for the mother and baby.
A few years later, Kardashian West again had a proven pregnancy with Saint. The reality star developed placenta accreta, another serious condition that causes the placenta to grow too close to the womb wall.
On the Kardashian West TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, she discussed in detail how her doctor removed the rest of her placenta with his hands.

In a recent interview with Vogue magazine, she answered a few questions about being older.
“You just have to give it wings,” she said after being asked what her secret was to be a great parent.
She also revealed that the room for baby number four was not yet complete from April, so she was “quite stressed”.
And more children could come in the future. People Magazine reported in 2017 that she and her husband were open to having “five or six” children in total.
